Wungki Park, MD, MS

Gastrointestinal medical oncologist and physician-scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, specializing in pancreatic and biliary tract cancers. His clinical and translational research focuses on pancreatic cancer immunobiology, DNA damage repair, KRAS/RAS-directed therapeutics, therapeutic resistance, and biomarker-driven precision oncology.

He led the POLAR trial of maintenance pembrolizumab plus olaparib in metastatic pancreatic cancer (Nature Medicine) and has contributed to individualized mRNA neoantigen vaccines, clinicogenomic studies of KRAS mutant alleles and dosage, and the clinical development of novel KRAS-directed therapies including setidegrasib and daraxonrasib.

Through the GRIT (GI RAS Innovative Therapeutics) initiative he is extending RAS-directed precision therapy across gastrointestinal cancers, connecting human tumor biology with mechanism-guided clinical trial design.
