Gastrointestinal medical oncologist and physician-scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, specializing in pancreatic and biliary tract cancers. His clinical and translational research connects tumor sequencing, circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), immune profiling, and early drug trials to identify molecular subgroups that may benefit from targeted treatment.

He led the POLAR trial of maintenance pembrolizumab plus olaparib in metastatic pancreatic cancer (Nature Medicine) and has contributed to individualized mRNA neoantigen vaccines, clinicogenomic studies of KRAS mutant alleles and dosage, and the clinical development of novel KRAS-directed therapies including setidegrasib and daraxonrasib. This work is multidisciplinary and multicenter, bridging molecular findings into biomarker-informed pancreatic-cancer treatment.

Through the GRIT (GI RAS Innovative Therapeutics) initiative he is extending RAS-directed precision therapy across gastrointestinal cancers, connecting human tumor biology with mechanism-guided clinical trial design.
